City of Perth – Property Asset Management
The City of Perth engaged Lycopodium to deliver a comprehensive Property Asset Data Collection and Condition Assessment Program to support its long-term Property Asset Management strategy.
Key objectives:
- Understand the condition of all building assets at a component level
- Identify operational and maintenance risks to guide forward planning
- Justify capital works funding and support estate planning
Our approach:
- Collected and catalogued component-level asset data across all City properties
- Completed condition ratings, risk assessments and rectification planning
- Developed a 10-year Forward Works Program with three priority scenarios
- Reviewed emergency equipment for statutory compliance
- Conducted a gap analysis comparing works to budget allocations
The project provided the City with a clear, data-driven view of its property portfolio, supporting proactive maintenance, risk mitigation and informed capital planning.
