Valentine Lake Gold Project

Americas, Canada
The Valentine Lake Gold Camp hosts four near-surface, mainly pit shell constrained, deposits. The majority of the resources occur in the Marathon and Leprechaun deposits, which also have resources below the pit shell. Both deposits are open to depth and on strike.

During the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), a greenfield gold flotation plant with a carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit to treat the gold concentrate and flotation tailings, and a separate heap leach operation, was investigated. The PEA also included identifying the associated infrastructure to support the mine and process plants.

Lycopodium’s scope included the provision of engineering and study management services to prepare a PEA NI 43-101 Technical Report including development of conceptual engineering to support the capital and operating cost estimate.
