Lycopodium acted as the Principal Engineer during the design phase and was engaged in the role of Superintendent on the construction phase.
Stage 1 of the YWTP upgrade involved improvement of the process streams to increase the plant capacity to its maximum throughput without compromising the water quality or the reliability of the plant. This upgrade delivers more than 5.0ML/day (70 L/s at a duty of 20 hours/day) of treated water.
As the Principal Engineer, Lycopodium formed part of the team responsible for the YWTP Stage 1 Upgrade conceptual and detailed design, which led to a capital estimate and tender package.
Lycopodium’s scope of services during the Construction phase was to provide Construction Management support services as Superintendent on site carrying out the Client Representative role
